There are two definitions for 'Janopause':\n\n1) Where someone refuses to drink for the entire of the month of January, to make up for all the drinking done over the Thanks Giving, Christmas and/or New Years Eve period.\n\n2) Where a woman doesn't get her period at all during the month of January, as she got herself pregnant over the Thanks Giving, Christmas and/or New Years Eve period.\n> 1)\n> Brad: Dude, you wanna grab a drink after work?\n> Dave: Nah, I'm having my Janopause - I drank far to much around Christmas.\n> 2)\n> Mary: You are not going to believe this, but I think I'm pregnant!?\n> Kelly: Really? When's the last time you got your period?\n> Mary: Well, my last one was in December.\n> Kelly: Janopause! Who did you have unprotected sex with on New Years Eve!?\n
