acceptancy

— That the plaintiff, afterwards wiſhing to remove the goods from the defendant’s wharf, tendered the defendants upwards of two thouſand pounds for wharfage and other expences, and that they refuſed to give up the goods till they were indemnified for their acceptancies, contending that it was ſolely upon the credit of the goods, then in their poſſeſſion, that they had given theſe acceptancies, and that they had a right to retain the goods till they were indemnified for their property, which they had ſo parted with on the credit of the goods.
