The inducer was a 70 dB, 1 kHz sine tone, and the inducee was a 66 dB sine tone, varying between nine frequency values, one value also 1 kHz, and the other eight frequencies were 1, 2, 6, and 10 semitones (STs) higher or lower. Both the inducer and the inducee lasted 200 ms.
